Note that the app's installer is not small, at 2.4GB, and the installed program takes up 2.5GB, so make sure your PC (or Mac, for which Elements is also available) has enough free disk space. A 30-day trial version is available for download, too.
You can either purchase Photoshop Elements together with its enthusiast-level video-editing companion, Premiere Elements, for $149.99, or buy it alone for $99.99. With its wealth of tools and ease of use, Photoshop Elements remains a PCMag Editors' Choice winner for enthusiast-level photo editing software. What's more, Elements provides many of Photoshop’s tools and capabilities without requiring you to sign up for a subscription, as its big brother does. Like Adobe's Creative Cloud applications, new features in the 2021 version-including face tilting and photo animation-take advantage of Adobe's AI technology, called Sensei. Adobe's consumer photo editing software continues to make splashy Photoshop effects possible for novices to accomplish. Photoshop Elements brings much of the visual magic pioneered by Adobe Photoshop to nonprofessional consumers.
